Nova And Victor’s Struggles In Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires Explained By Stars

Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires sees Nova step up into a leadership position when her father entrusts her with looking out for the Daywalkers. When asked about the character’s struggles between obeying her parent and what she feels is right, Skye admits that she admires her ability to think outside of herself.

It was really difficult. I think she always had that inkling that she wanted something more for the Daywalkers, but the fact that she actually went out and went for it was just something that I found to be really inspiring. But it’s the whole thing of having to choose between your head and your heart.

Zombies 4: Dawn Of The Vampires Cast Answers Our Burning Questions

“I don’t know if Nosferatu is a vampire, but Nosferatu specifically in SpongeBob.”

ScreenRant: In the theme of the film, who are your favorite vampires of all time?

Freya Skye: Stefan Salvatore [from]The Vampire Diaries. Stefan and Damon. I can’t even pick. And then Edward fromTwilight. They’re my all-time favorites.

Malachi Barton: Shoutout—wifey,Hailee Steinfeld inSinners. I just watched it for the first time, and it was insane. It’s wild. Wild. Honestly, Hailee Steinfeld and Michael B. Jordan. They both did great.

Milo Manheim: I’m going to just go with my boy Eddie fromTwilight. Edward.

Meg Donnelly: Probably Dracula. Or Nosferatu. Is he a vampire? I don’t know if Nosferatu is a vampire, but Nosferatu specifically inSpongeBob. When it’s the Hash-Slinging Slasher, and they’re like, “Nosferatu,” and he’s like [thumbs up].

ScreenRant: Now, Meg, we’re at summer camp. There’s some musical action, a little bit of competition. You’re in a leadership position. I have to know, did you get anyHigh School Musical: The Musical: The Seriesseason 3 nostalgia?

Meg Donnelly: Oh, wow. Honestly, yeah. Definitely channeled some Val energy. I think the whole being a camp counselor and being a leader and kind of stepping into that role—I definitely took some inspiration from that for sure. That was so fun.

ScreenRant: If you had to choose, would you be a Daywalker or a Vampire?

Meg Donnelly: I love the glittery part of being a Daywalker. Because I love glitter, and I love Nova as a character, but since I’m on the Vampire side and I spent the most time with the Vampires and they’re just really cool, I’m going to go with Vampires.

Milo Manheim: I think I answered this question a little bit ago, and I said, Daywalkers because of their powers, but I also have just been silently reflecting, and I really love nighttime. I just prefer night to day, all the time. So I think for that reason, my love for night is so strong, I shall be a Vampire. That felt like a Shakespearean quote.
