Snyder posted three photos of the Netflix original film to his Twitter account along with the caption, “Day 1 #RebelMoon. It’s begun.” The first photo shows a black and white image of actor Djimon Hounsou in full costume as General Titus, looking menacingly into the camera. The other two photos appear to show the entrance tosome kind of spaceship, along with crew members hard at work in the desert. While little is known about the new film, the official plot synopsis reads, “When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.”
