According to a post onXbox Wire, which details current and upcoming July Game Pass titles,Grounded 2is coming to the service as a free Game Preview on July 29. Xbox Game Preview is essentially Early Access to an in-development game, aiding in the game’s progress and providing suggestions for improvements before its full release.

Grounded 2is a follow-up to Obsidian Entertainment’s breakout co-op survival game, in which player characters have been shrunk andmust work together to overcome the challenges of the oversized Brookhollow Park. The Game Preview portion of the game will allow players to explore a portion of the new environment, and is designed to gather player feedback before full release. There is currently no date for when the game is estimated to leave Early Access.

Featuring four shrunken playable characters, a larger environment (going from a backyard inthe first gameto a park in the sequel), and the addition of rideable mounts by way of taming insects,Grounded 2is shaping up to be the sequel fans have wanted. The first-person perspective expands on almost every element of its predecessor, and it may also bring in some new players along with the returning community.
