As has come to be expected from Microsoft’s increasingly player-friendly model, Xbox Game Pass continues to be one of the absolute best deals currently available in the world of gaming. FromResident Evil 7toDoom Eternal, the service has added some utterly incredible releases over the last few weeks, padding out what was already a stacked lineup.

The lineup will be followed by a few more console releases in the days following the new batch of PC games, with October 21 seeing the release ofScourgebringer, which Microsoft claims is like “a crossbreed betweenDead CellsandCeleste.“It will be followed by two final releases on October 22, whenCricket 19comes to Xbox One alongsideSupraland. All in all, it looks like a strong batch of games with some notable indie standouts included. Seeing as the console has put a stronger focus on bringing AAA blockbusters to the service in recent months, it’s great to see a dedicated focus on implementing titles from smaller developers as well.

As it stands, Xbox Game Pass has slowly but surely turned into a treasure trove of strong releases over its lifespan, offering huge experiences likeThe Witcher 3, Doom Eternal, Gears 5,andHalo: The Master Chief Collectionfor one, affordable, fixed monthly cost. As the next-generation draws closer, it seems likely that Xbox will lean more heavily on the strengths of its subscription-based service, continuing to offer incredible games to its users without asking them to break the bank to access them. Hopefully, it’ll make for one of the best launch lineups the console manufacturer has offered to date, allowing players to access hundreds of enhanced games when they purchase a Series X this holiday.
