Xbox’s Game Pass service is one of the more interesting subscriptions on the market. It offers an ever-changing list of games andDay One access to the company’s first-party titlesfor $10 a month. This month, players can expect five new games to be added to the Netflix-style service.
Next up isOlli Olli 2 XL Edition,which is generally considered to be one of the best skateboarding games ever made. It’s a 2D game that features analog controls similar to those of theSkateseries and some impressive level design. It improves on the original game in just about every way and should be a welcome addition to the Game Pass line-up.
Also coming to the service isSheltered,which was developed by the same studio responsible forOlli Olli 2.It’s a survival management game similar toThis War of Mine,so players will have to hunt and gather resources to ensure that their entire family survives the apocalypse.
Also debuting on Xbox Game Pass next month isRise and Shine,a 2D action-oriented shooting game about a boy named Rise and his gun Shine. The game hasn’t faired exceptionally well critically, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth checking out.
Finally, players will be able to jump intoGrip: Combat Racingon November 6th.Gripis a fast-paced racing game that will pit players against each other in a variety of locations. The game features a healthy selection of 22 tracks and 15 vehicles, so there should plenty to keep gamers engaged for quite some time. It also features 4 player split-screen, so it ought to be a neat game to check out with friends and a solid alternative toMario Kart.
All of the games featured will be available on November 1st, with the exception ofGrip: Combat Racing.Xbox Game Pass now features a healthy selection of over 100 games and comes bundled for 2 years withXbox’s All Access subscription, so it may be worth checking out for players looking to build a library ofXboxgames on a budget.
