Whooooosh

Ages and ages ago,LostWindsdebuted on the Wii eShop. It got some critical acclaim back then, including from our now-defunct retro podcast RetroForceGO! Since then, it and its sequelWinter of the Melodiashaveshown up on mobile platforms, but we haven’t heard much about the duology in five years. Smash cut to today, with it surprise releasing for Windows on Steam.

Honestly, I’m curious to see if the games hold up. I played a small amount of the first one back when it released, but never got far. My suspicion isLostWindswas great… compared to everything else on the Wii eShop at the time. Against today’s standards for digital content, who knows how it’ll fare?
