One of the most underrated characters inThe Lincoln Lawyergets a lot of hate, but I think they deserve more love. The hit Netflix legal drama is one of the streaming site’s best original shows. The show is well-written, andThe Lincoln Lawyer’s castis packed with entertaining characters. Unfortunately, some of them don’t get enough appreciation.
Although Cisco is integral to the show, I’ve found that there’s a shocking amount of hate for him in the fandom. While I won’t go into every complaint, I frequently hear that Angus Sampson’s fake accent is distracting and his acting is forced. I disagree with both those assertions.
I enjoy his version of the character. Plus, if you listen to Sampson’s interviews, his natural voice is gravely and growly, just Australian instead of American. However, acting preferences are ultimately subjective. The critiques that feel completely unfair criticize Cisco as a character, especially when it comes to his place inMickey Haller’s team.

Cisco Is A Sweet & Loyal Man Who Supports His Loved Ones
While other characters have more in-your-face personalities, Cisco’s persona is understated and best recognized through his relationships with others. Cisco might be a large and tough guy, but he has a soft interior, showing warmth to his family and friends.
The beauty of Cisco and Lorna as a couple is that they’re an opposites attract couple.He’s a gruff, jaded biker guy married to a high-energy and bubbly now-lawyer. On paper, they don’t make sense. But in practice, they’re great.
They both have their struggles in relationships, but they actively work on their relationship. Over the three seasons, he also learns to open up about his secrets, which brings him closer to Lorna. She also works to become more vulnerable with him when it comes to law school.
It certainly helps their relationship thatCisco is a man who loves being with a strong woman and lifts her up. He isn’t threatened by the fact that she’s successful, celebrating her career strides. He’s not the most domestic person, even when he gets married, but he tries his best to support his wife in the way she needs.

On top of that,Cisco is unbelievably loyal, even when that gets him in trouble. One example of this is his sticking by his close friend Kaz, even when he tries to move away from the Road Saints. Additionally, he goes further to help Mickey than he might for others because the two men have a strong bond.

He also repeatedly puts himself in legally dubious situations so that Mickey doesn’t have to. This keeps the lawyer out of situations that could disbar him. For these two big reasons, I’d label Cisco the most critical member of Mickey’s team inThe Lincoln Lawyeraside from Mickey himself.
