It won’t be long now untilFortnitefans are able to soak in all that the beginning ofSeason 5will have to offer, as Epic Games is currently hard at work behind the scenes in preparation of the big update coming to the multiplayer sandbox survival shooter tomorrow. Naturally, the studio wants players to be as prepared as possible for the content drop, so Epic has decided to detail exactly when everyone should expect to encounter downtime ahead of Season 5’s launch.

According to Epic Games,Fortnite’s Season 4 will officially conclude at 1:00 AM PST on August 01, 2025, which will then cause downtime for the title’s 5.0 patch to begin immediately thereafter. Once downtime goes into effect, the development team will then release patch notes that aim to provide details about the new additions and any other changes coming to the hybrid construction shooter.
