Zenless Zone Zeromay not feature intricate RPG mechanics, but the extensive list of Agents' Stats can confuse newcomers, leaving many puzzled by terms like Anomaly Mastery and Impact. To help with this, the following guide clarifies every Stat inZenless Zone Zero, simplifying their gameplay effects.
Base Stats
Base Stats are universal among all Agents inZenless Zone Zero, and they indicate the power, durability, and agility of a character. There are ten stat categories that players must be aware of: HP, ATK, DEF, Impact, CRIT Rate and Damage, PEN and PEN Ratio, Energy Regeneration and Energy Regeneration Rate, Anomaly Mastery, Anomaly Proficiency, and Attribute Damage Bonus.
Agent Specialty
Each Agent inZenless Zero Zonehas a specialty that determines their role as a Stun, Attack, Support, Anomaly, or Defense character.
Stun
Agents with Stun Specialty can stagger enemies quickly, giving them the Daze stat much faster than other characters. (For example,Von Lycaon is a Stun specialist.)
Attack
Attack specialists deal more damage with base and special attacks than other agents.
Support
If an Agent’s Specialty is Support, they excel atbuffing and healing the team.
Anomaly
Anomaly specialists inflict additional Attribute debuff on enemies, and their Attribute Anomaly Rate is higher than others by default.
Defense
Agents with Defense Specialty play the role of a tank. They are durable characters specializing in taking damage and dealing damage through counterattacks.
Damage-Deal Type
InZenless Zone Zero, Agents deal damage in three distinctive ways: Strike, Slash, and Pierce. This is shown under their Specialty in the stats menu. Here’s what each damage-deal type indicates:
Strike
Strikers are close-range combatants. An Agent with a Strike damage-deal type uses fists and kicks to hit enemies.
Slash
Slashers are mid-range melee combatants. An Agent with a Slash damage-deal type uses swords or other melee weapons to hit enemies. (For example,Soldier 11 is a Slash-type damage dealer.)
Pierce
Piercers are long-range weapon-wielder combatants. If an Agent’s damage-deal type is Pierce, they use guns or projectiles to hit with enemies.
Additional Agent Abilities
In addition to all universal stats, Agents inZenless Zone Zerocan have hidden Additional Abilities. These abilities are triggered only when you have more than one Agent with similar Attributes or Factions on the team. Additional Abilities are often ATK, DEF, or HP bonuses that enhance the performance of one or all players on the team.
