What Todd Stashwick’s Vision Quest Role Means

TheVision QuestTV show, starring Bettany as the beloved Avenger, will follow the hero after the events ofWandaVision, as he now figures out his existence after being resurrected.Vision Quest, originally developed by Jac Schaeffer, withStar Trek: Picardshowrunner, Matalas, now running the MCU TV series.

In the comics, Paladin is a mercenary who ends up at odds with other superheroes, as his canon includes conflicts with characters like Punisher and Daredevil. Stashwick’s casting forVision Questin theMCU timelinecould be putting him in a similar position, in this case, being with Vision himself.

It’s also possible thatVision Questcould be starting Paladin out as a villain who ends up clashing with other MCU heroes down the line, as it’s unclear if theMCU Phase 6show is the only project Stashwick will show up in for Marvel Studios.

Our Take On Todd Stashwick’s Vision Quest Role

With Stashwick and Matalas' great collaborations in the past, it will be fun to see how the actor fits into theVision Questseries, especially for a character like Paladin, who has never had any previous live-action appearances. Since very little is known aboutVision Questin terms of plot, including howJames Spader’s Ultron returnfactors in, time will tell what Paladin will do for the story.

SinceVision Questhas finished filming, there is always the chance that a first look at the series will emerge towards the end of 2025. Hopefully, asVision Questgets ready for its 2026 debut on Disney+ in Phase 6, the wait for the MCU TV show will have been worth it.
