In RPGs, there’s sometimes a fine line between armor with the best statistics and the best-looking appearance. Sometimes, there’s nothing worse than terrible looking armor with the best stats or good-looking armor with the worst stats. The best way to fix this is atransmog system, something thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais missing at launch.
This may come off as odd asAssassin’s Creed Odysseyhas an excellent transmog system, but many may recall that this was added post-launch. Seemingly following in the footsteps of its predecessor, Ubisoft has confirmed thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais getting a transmog system but stops short of saying when.

Redditor BEmuddle reached out to Ubisoft Support regarding this (as pictured below), with the reply confirming the feature is coming to Valhalla. However, Ubisoft Support states that it cannot provide an ETA and directs the Redditor to the Ubisoft forms. While the wait is unfortunate, it should ultimately pay off in the long run. This is especially true ifAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s transmog system holds up toAssassin’s Creed Odyssey’s.
After all, many have noted howAssassin’s Creed Valhallahas simplified its gearand RPG systems, and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This allows the game to feel like more of a mix between the old games and the new games, yet the transmog system is something that shouldn’t be phased out. Again, it’s not necessarily surprising sinceAC Odyssey’s was a post-launch release, but if anything, its popularity is well-known to Ubisoft. That makes it a bit of a surprise that it wasn’t available at launch, but in light of everything this year, it seems safe to say it’s a small oversight and one that is in the process of being corrected.
Assassin’s Creed Valhallais available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
