When it comes toTwitch, many streamers will do what they can to stand out from the rest and gain a following. While this has shown to be effective for some people, there are often many times where this has backfired on the content creator and they get in trouble on the platform for breakingTwitch community guidelines.

For example, one Twitch streamer named LivStixs recently shared on Twitter that she received an indefinite ban after spending four years on the platform. LivStixs posted a screenshot of Twitch’s email on Twitter that states the reasoning for the Twitch ban being broadcasting withinappropriate attire on Twitch.

Twitchalso explained that the company has reviewed her appeal and will still be denying it due to repeated Terms of Service violations. In the end, Twitch said it does not unsuspend accounts for this level of abuse, and it has the right to suspend accounts without notice at its discretion.

In another tweet, LivStixs shared images of her outfit that caused the ban, which is a combination of shorts and a shirt with a cherry design. Other Twitter users responded that while they agree that the outfit is promiscuous, it isn’t revealing enough to warrant the ban. Another female Twitch streamer named Izzy G responded, saying that it was most likely because the shorts were too small. Izzy compared this incident to when she was streaming herself exercising and got a 24-hour suspension for showing a little too much underbutt.

While this may be LivStixs' third ban, many believe that an indefinite ban is too harsh of a punishment. In addition, many compared LivStixs' outfit as nothing compared to what other female streamers like Amouranth wear during their stream. LivStixs even brought up her comparison to howAmouranth is on her fifth Twitch banfor breaking similar rules and yet is somehow still always allowed back onto the platform.
