The McBee clan, from Gallatin, Missouri, is comprised of divorced parents Steve McBee Sr. and Kristi McBee and their four boys, Steven Jr., Jesse, Cole, and Brayden McBee. The three older brothers are the core of the show as it showcases their lives within the family cattle, farming, and car wash businesses.The brothers' love livesare also a heavy focus.
The important people to the business, like CFO and part owner Galyna Saltkovska and “den mother” Tessa Lollar are also part of the cast in addition to a few farm hands.
Steve Sr. was a main character in season 1, but he is noticeablyabsent in season 2. Conversely, Kristi was absent from season 1, but is a central figure in season 2.McBee Dysnastyis already taking on a life of its own between theon and off-screen dramathat has a grip on viewers, and there is a lot the cast members have to account for.
Galyna Vandalized Steven Sr.’s Home
& Was Drinking On The Job
There was a monkey wrench thrown intoThe McBee Dynastyearly in season 1 when it was revealed that Galyna was not only the money and brains of the operation but was also sleeping with Steve Sr. Steve recounted thatthey started sleeping together within a month of meeting.
Steve relayed that he made it clear to Galyna that he wanted to be single, would never marry again, and that she could not spend more than three nights a week at his house. However, Galyna was relentless in her pursuit of her"perfect person"in Steve, even though Steve openly saw other women and even let his side chick drive and wreck Galyna’s Escalade.
Moving intoMcBee Dynastyseason 2, Galyna was on a tear after finding out that her friend Masha was allegedly sleeping with Steve behind her back and then began a whole relationship with him, effectively pushing Galyna completely out. Galyna went into a jealous rage, feeling backstabbed by Masha and Steve.
Galyna let Steve and Masha’s chickens out, vandalized Steve’s cowboy hats, broke things, and hid Masha’s things.
Then,Galyna got caught drinking on the jobon a Monday at 11:30 a.m. by the McBee brothers after she was acting strangely in season 2. She blamed her alcohol use on her broken heart.
Galyna needs to do some serious damage control if she wants to save her reputation and give herself credibility back, because right now she looks like a woman unhinged and scorned and unfit to be the CFO ofThe McBee Dynasty.
Steven Jr. & Calah Are Back Together On-Screen
& Kristi Is Exposing Calah
Calah and Steven Jr. admittedly havebroken up more than 15 times. They met when Calah was crowned Steven’s winner onJoe Millionaire. Calah, who is from Dallas, split her time between there and Gallatin, but ultimately made the move to Gallatin full time before she and Steven broke up.
Then, when they broke up in season 2, Calah moved back to Dallas, and wanted Steven to foot the bill for a lavish apartment despite being broken up because she did not work or have the credit history and felt like she deserved compensation. Now, matriarch Kristi is spilling the tea about what’s really going on with Calah (viau/papablesssssson Reddit.)
According to Kristi, she tried to employ Calah on two separate occasions but Calah wouldn’t show up for work.
She also claimed that she pays for Calah’s car and her “high-end” Dallas apartment all while Calah has openly disliked the McBee family.
Calah comes off as a total user, aiming to get everything she can out of her relationship with Steven, and Steven is falling for it.Calah’s character is in question, and she should be looking to be more likable and gain public independence, especially financially.
Steven Sr. Has Gone Down For Fraud
He Faces Significant Time
The biggest breaking scandal inThe McBee Dynastycomes with patriarch Steve Sr., 52. It has been proven in court that Steve Sr. was part of a multi-million-dollar scheme involving Steve defrauding the U.S. Department of Agriculture and falsifying financial documents for three years, from 2018 to 2020.
He received $2.6 million dollars in insurance benefits he was not entitled to.He pleaded guilty to one count of federal crop insurance fraud.
His sentencing is set for July 21, 2025. He is facing up to 30 years without parole for the criminal offense.
Steve Sr. is not locked up yet, and he has been working and spending time with family. He now has two grandchildren.
Steve Sr.’s absence fromThe McBee Dynastyseason 2 proves that he is trying to evade scrutiny on the show, when he should be facing his wrongdoing head on. Instead, Steve is off with Masha on vacation, leaving the wreckage professionally and personally to his family.
