The Film Looks Absurdly Comedic
As the second adaptation of the novel by Warren Adler,The Rosestrailer shows how much thefilm will lean into the characters' intensity to create the comedy. Ivy and Theo are willing to go to great lengths to destroy each other’s lives. While the intentions of these measures are often destructive, the sheer absurdity of what this couple is doing to each other will lead to comedic ends.
