GameStop andAmazonhave confirmed the existence of a PC exclusiveKnights of the Old Republiccollection, that consists of bothKOTOR IandII. According to the listing, it’s set to drop on July 17th for $20. For those of you who haven’t gotten into the series yet, now seems to be a good time!
KOTOR Iis one of my favorite games of all time. As long as you’re able to put up with a dice-rolling battle system and some dated graphics, you’ll easily find out why it put Bioware back on the map afterBaldur’s GateandNeverwinter Nights.
As for the sequel, although it isn’t as good of an all-around experience as the first game, Obsidian’sKOTOR IIisn’t bad. Just keep in mind that the PC version is broken in some parts (93 separate events, in fact) —the community mod projectmakes it much more enjoyable.
