In this way,Superman is being challenged to keep himself a secret, and in some cases, his identity is exposed. Whether that is to his friends in the Justice League, his enemies who are able to deduce the truth, or the entire world.

But in Superman, this is a version of the hero who has been operating on a global level for three years. In that time, he has forged friendships with other metahumans, and becauseSuperman sees the best in others, he tends to be pretty trusting.
Already, the others in the Justice Gang know who Superman really is, and so does Lois Lane, a famous reporter for the Daily Planet.Superman evidently trusts these people to keep his secret, but as seen in one scene when Lois meets the Justice Gang, maybe Supes should be less trusting.
Guy Gardner, a Green Lanternwho is a part of this team, confirms with Lois that she knows who Superman is. But his way of doing so is to blurt out the facts.Guy literally says Clark Kent’s name, confirming Lois knows about his alter ego, without confirming she actually does know.

Luckily, Lois already knew, and despite her role at the Daily Planet, she chooses to keep his secret. But if anyjournalist put a small amount of effort into interviewing Guyto get Superman’s identity, they could do so with relatively little resistance.
While this is nerve-wrecking forSuperman preserving his secret identity, it does bring the story closer in line with the comics. One of the pivotal points of contention in the comics is thatSuperman’s identity could be exposed to the world, and the fallout would be huge.
How this progresses in the DCU, and whether his identity is revealed, or if Guy will get some proper media training, remains to be seen. Either way,Supermanhas a long road ahead of him and he needs all the help he can get to preserve his secrets and keep the world safe.
