Tfue has posted a lengthyYouTubevideo confirming that he’s retiring from the content creation life. Tfue first appeared onYouTubein 2007, and he has gained momentum ever since as he moved from doing IRL content to gaming professionally, but it’s now all coming to an end.

Popular YouTube content creator Turner “Tfue” Tenney is known for playing a widevariety of games likeFortnite,PUBG,Halo,H1Z1, and more. With a career that includes multiple tournament victories like the FortniteFall Skirmish Series in 2018, Tfue has several accomplishments that have been captured in front of a live audience along the way. The new video highlights just how long Tfue has been on YouTube, and he has been partnered for eight years on Twitch, which shows his longevity on the platform leading up to his retirement.

Tfue stated that he doesn’t have time for hobbies other than gaming, and that he’s been making content since he was eight years old, and he now wants to live his life.The popular Twitch streamerclaimed that he needs time to get away, but he’s thankful for the following he has gotten over the years, and he may return one day for the occasional video or livestream. Though his video is called Goodbye, Tfue states that he needs a break and time to escape from the content creation which he has felt trapped in lately, emphasizing that he’s 25 and uses real life to escape from gaming and making videos.

Because the Tfue retirement video includes a huge compilation of career achievements and some of his bestFortnitegameplayclips, some new fans may have only seen some key moments from the fresh YouTube upload. Given that Tfue references a comeback in the Goodbye video, it’s currently unclear just how long he’ll be gone from Twitch and YouTube, but it will likely be a longer break than the ones he has taken in the past.
