The Talos Principle 2takes little time to get started once players have left New Jerusalem, as instead of letting them take in the island’sbeautiful scenery, they will find themselves facing a puzzle with a new gameplay mechanic. RGB Shifting, as the name suggests, introduces the RGB Converter to the franchise – a tool that adds a new spin on the franchise’s staple Connector.

How to Solve RGB Shifting (Grasslands Ring Puzzle 1)

To solve this puzzle, players need to use the RGB Converter to open the gates to the two Hexahedrons (boxes), open the gate to the red Pressure Plates, and then put the Hexahedrons on the Pressure Plates to open the final Energy Gate.

Red + Green = Blue

Blue + Red = Green

Starting with the red Light Reciever’s Energy Gate, pick up the RGB Converter and select the blue and green Light Generators. This will cause the Converter to light up red, so players cannow select the red Light Receiver, which will unlock the Energy Gate. Head into the gate, pick up the Hexahedron, and then move it somewhere outside of the gatefor the time being (be sure that it doesn’t block the path of any lasers, though).

To get the second Hexahedron, players need to follow the same process as before, but this time, they need to unlock a gate with a blue Light Receiver. To turn the RGB Converter blue, players need topick up the RGB Converterwithout keeping the pre-existing connectionsand then select the red and green Light Generators. This will turn the Converter blue, allowing players to open the next gate and retrieve the Hexahedron.

Finally, players need to unlock the gate with the green Light Reciever. To do so,select the red and blue Light Receivers while wielding the RGB Converter, which will create green.Zap the green Light Generator, put the two Hexahedrons on the red Pressure Plates, and players will be able to use the Progress Wheel, completing the puzzle.
