Out of all the impressive characters Kohei Horikoshi created for his manga,My Hero Academia, All Might tends to stand out as being the most memorable. This perception mostly comes from the awe-inspiring feats he accomplished throughout the story, as well as displaying his superhuman abilities. What surprises viewers the most is the fact that thehero was able to do so much while on the verge of retirement, due to his grave injuries.
Nonetheless, fans tend to ignore the reality of how much stronger All Might would have been if he had been introduced during his prime. By studying his already impressive accomplishments and comparing them to the power he canonically had during his best days, the notion of how terrifyingly strong All Might is quickly becomes apparent.
All Might Would Have Been an Absolute Force of Nature
His Strength During His Prime Could Destroy Entire Cities
When All Might was first introduced during the first episode of theMy Hero Academiaanime, he was depicted asthe greatest and most successful hero Japanhad ever seen. Despite having worked for more than four decades by that point, Toshinori continued to impress citizens with his amazing demonstrations of strength, agility, and resilience. Shortly after meeting Deku, the truth of his horrible life-altering injuries was revealed, with the hero confirming that the battle against All For One greatly reduced his capabilities. Normal humans did not notice this as his strength was still far above the norm.
The series further confirmed how much weaker Toshinori was during the series after Deku’s mentor defeated the horrific monster known as Nomu. Due tothe beast’s large number of Quirks, All Might had topunch the monstermore than 300 timesto cause any kind of damage. This greatly disappointed Toshinori, as he would have been able to defeat a villain of that category in only five attacks during his prime. The difference in strength comes to around 60 times less than what All Might used to possess.
This implies that, during his prime, Toshinori would have been able to accomplish any of his feats seen in the series 60 times more easily. If one of his less powerful punches was enough to cause the climate to shift and rain to begin pouring, Prime All Might’s attack could have caused havoc to an entire city’s climate. It is hard to imagine the magnitude of Toshinori’s true strength, but there is no denying that he would have easily been able to level entire cities without breaking a sweat.
His Battle Against All for One Further Proves This Theory
The Symbol of Evil Implied All Might’s Speed Was Beyond Human Imagination
In episode #48 of theMy Hero Academiaanime adaptation,All Might runs at maximum speedto reach Bakugo before All For One has a chance to hurt the boy. For the viewers and the heroes who were battling beside Toshinori moments before, Deku’s mentor traveled the distance between the League of Villain’s bar to the battlefield in the blink of an eye. His movement was so fast that his mere arrival caused a massive shock wave capable of pushing anyone in the area several feet back. Yet, despite this monumental achievement, All For One mocked Toshinori for his lack of speed.
According to the Symbol of Evil, All Might traveled approximately 3.1 miles in less than 30 seconds, a speed that could not be perceived by the human eye. Despite this, the villain’s words imply that this terrifying speedpales in comparison to the one he was used to fighting against. While his true velocity was never revealed, the impression of the antagonist makes it seem like it was several times higher than the one fans witnessed. This type of velocity is likely impossible for the human mind to imagine.
All For One’s taunts did not stop after Toshinori’s arrival, as he continued mocking the hero for how weak he had become after their last battle. This becomes even more shocking after fans take the time to analyze the fight between All Might and his archnemesis, undoubtedlyone of the best inMy Hero Academia. The level of devastation that their short confrontation caused was horrifying, with entire blocks being destroyed in seconds. If what the Symbol of Evil said is indeed true, Prime All Might would have been 60 times faster and stronger than he was during their confrontation.
Deku Would Have Been Far Stronger
Fans Were Robbed of the Mightiest Hero Ever Born
One of the most fascinating aspects of One For All, besides the fact that it was able tocarry several other Quirks inside it, was the ability to become stronger with time. When Deku received the Quirk, the energy it contained was enough to destroy the body of an unprepared host. This drastic change in power is often attributed to Toshinori using it constantly for more than 40 years, allowing it to grow exponentially. If Deku had been able to reach his prime with the Quirk, he would undoubtedly have become the strongest character inMy Hero Academia.
