Super Stardust HDdeveloper Housemarque has confirmedvia its Twitter accountthat it has a new game in development for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation 3. The game will be revealed at Penny Arcade Expo in early September.
Housemarque has previously developed a few console-specific downloadable games, including the aforementionedSuper Stardust HDand the upcoming zombie shooter,Dead Nation, for PlayStation Network. Housemarque likes its twin-stick shooters, although it has deviated a bit — it developedGolf: Tee It Upfor XBLA as well.
Housemarque has a track record of making stellar games, so Xbox 360 and PS3 owners should be in for a treat. We’ll let you know what it is as soon as we find out.
