Players who want to take theirFriendship withStardew ValleyVillagerslike George to the next level may instead skip Gifts and opt for something more personal, such as theMovie Theater. At its core, the Movie Theater becomes unlocked once Morris offers all community upgrades or once players complete the Community Center. Those who pursued the Joja route may purchase the Movie Theater for 500,000g.

Either way, players can take George out for a film viewing once every seven (7) days. Each ticket costs for 1,000g, with a ticket for a Villager being offered to them like a Gift. Players interested in taking George out to movies would have to enter the Theater on the same day they’ve provided the Ticket, and the Movie chosen does have an effect on George’s relationship with players.

Anytime

At any point in time during the player and George’s Friendship, any Friendship Level above 0 can have George send good-quality Stone to players in the mail. The odds of this occurring get higher the more Friendship Points players earn.

At 3 Hearts

After players reach three (3) Hearts with George, regardless of theStardew Valleyseason of the year, he will send a Recipe for Fried Eel to players in the Mail. Alongside it is a note that asks players to receive this Recipe as it’s been “lying around,” and players should try not to “burn” it.

At 6 Hearts

When players reach six (6) Hearts with George, they don’t receive an item but rather trigger a cutscene. Players enter George’s home and see him struggle to reach something on a bookshelf. After players help him retrieve the item, there will be a couple seconds of silence before George opens up about how he’s become wheelchair-bound.

At 7 Hearts

After players reach seven (7) Hearts with George, they now send players a Recipe in the Mail. This is the last milestone players get as they develop their Friendship with George. Alongside this Gift is a note that once again tells the player not to “burn” the Recipe.
