Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the upcoming Disney Plus series starring Jude Law, has completed its filming stage, as confirmed by a video posted on social media by members of the show this past weekend.
Similarly toThe Mandalorian,Skeleton Crewwill be set in theStar Warsuniverse afterReturn of the Jedi, with the two series meant to connect that particular era in the franchise. However, despite being planned as one of Disney’s live-action shows for 2023,Star Wars: Skeleton Crewfaced some production setbacksthat made fans question the project.

It didn’t take long forSkeleton Crewto get back on track, as the series has officially wrapped up filming. The news was announced thanks to an Instagram post from the series’ stunt coordinator,George Cottle, who wrote, “That’s a Wrap on Skeleton Crew!!” on a now-deleted video that thanked everyone involved in the show for their hard work. Cottle’s feelings were echoed by stunt actor Juliana Potter, who also posted an Instagram story pointing toSkeleton Crewfilming being done.
Skeleton Crewwill be helmed by Jon Watts, made famous bythe MCU’sSpider-Mantrilogy, along with frequent collaborator Christopher Ford. While Law is the sole confirmed cast member up to this point, Watts has stated that the show will center on four kids “who are about ten years old who get lost in theStar Warsuniverse.” AsSkeleton Crewheads into the post-production phase, Disney still has not announced an official release date beyond it being 2023 content.
