The first installment,Chrysalis, focuses heavily on world-building and getting to know protagonist Max Caulfield. It’s an episode that emphasizes exploration, and that’s where some ofLife is Strange‘s finest moments come from.
Inour reviewin January 2015, I gaveChrysalisan 8.5 and said that it’s an introduction that really sets the table more than anything else. That’s usually what you can expect from a first episode. Just don’t be surprised if you want to dig deeper after playing this.
