$24.99 this September

Sony is coming out with a wireless USB adapter for the DualShock 4 this September. It’s going to cost $24.99, which is what these sorts of thingstypically go for, and it’ll let you use the controller’s “every feature” on PC and Mac. If you have one of those way-too-short micro-USB cables like I do, it might be time to retire that sucker. Where do I keep getting those things? They pop up outta nowhere!

There will be DualShock 4 compatibility withRemote Playon both PC and Mac, as well as withPlayStation Now, which will soon be available for PC in Europe and then in North America shortly after. PS Now is a service that lets you stream400 somePlayStation 3 games.

For streaming games through Now, Sony recommends a minimum 5 Mbps connection; Windows 7 or higher; 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster; and 2 GB of RAM or more.

Perhaps I’ll take this as an opportunity to finally, finallyplayAsura’s Wrath, CyberConnect2’s crazed action game, in loving memory of Kyle. He’s been hounding me for years about it — “But it’s on PS3 and 360,” I’d always say — and while he’s no longer with the site, I feel phantom scoldings.
