Thefree PlayStation Plus games for July 2019have only been available for a couple of weeks now, but it appears as though August’s offerings may have already leaked. While browsing through PS4 games on the PlayStation Store, a PS4 user noted that two titles were marked with the free PS Plus tag, leading to speculation that they will be the free PlayStation Plus games for August 2019.
The PS4 user in question sent proof to the publication Glitched Africa, providing photos of the games that will supposedly be the freePlayStation Plusgames for August 2019. Assuming the photos are real and that they are accurate,Star Wars Battlefront 2andEA Sports UFC 3will be the free PS Plus games in August.
We recommend that this news is taken with a massive grain of salt. After all, it’s possible that the photos were faked, or if they weren’t faked, it’s also possible that the games are marked that way in error.
It would also be a bit strange for both of the free PS Plus games for August 2019 to be from Electronic Arts. We’re not sure if there is precedent for that or not, but it seems as though most of the time the free PS Plus games are from different companies.
We’re only about halfway through the month of July, so unfortunately, we likely won’t hear official news on the free PS Plus games for August 2019 for a couple more weeks. We’ll find out then if there was every any truth toStar Wars Battlefront 2andEA Sports UFC 3being the free PS Plus games for August 2019.
