Double Dragon’s Abobo is in the game
In its final days, the Kickstarter campaign forRiver City Ransom: Undergroundwas funded. Despite sincere enthusiasm for the property and what looks to be a more-than-capable team handling development, I wasn’t so sure this one would make it. Happy to see my doubts were for nothing andRCRis alive and well in 2013. Nicely done, all.
There’s still time left forstretch goals to be funded, including Mac and Linux support at $205,000 CAD — that seems within reach at the current pace of contributions. Further down the list, there are goals for PS4, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, Xbox One, and PS3 versions ofUnderground.
Best of all, Abobo ofDouble Dragonfame is going to have a cameo in the game. That’s happening for sure and isn’t dependent on a certain amount of funding. It’s the Abobo way.
