PS Plus Game Catalog Gets Classic RE Games & More

Resident Evil, Unicorn Overlord, & More

Thetwo biggest standouts for this monthare the additions of the originalResident Evil 2and3to the PlayStation Plus Premium classics catalog. There hasn’t been a way to play these classic games on a modern console (excluding PC) before, and with the added up-rendering, rewind feature, and quick saves, this may be the perfect time to try out the original games if fans were impressed with thestellarREremakes.

Fighting game fans may be able to scratch an itch withMortal Kombat 1, despiteall of that game’s controversies around microtransactionsand its reliance on theassist-based Kameo System. The firstMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredgame is also being added, for new players who haven’t gotten to play it or returning fans who may want to try the upgraded version.
