Sony has revealed thePS Plus Extra and Premiumgames for June 2023, with one of the big additions beingRogue Legacy 2. It was previously released on PC, Switch, and Xbox platforms, butRogue Legacy 2will join the PS4 and PS5 familyfor the first time on June 20 as part of PS Plus, technically making it a day-one release for the service.

For the uninitiated,Rogue Legacy 2is a platformer with action, roguelike, and Metroidvania elements. When players die, they start a new run by choosing a descendant who will have randomized traits, classes, and the like. It’s easily one of the best and most popular roguelike indie games in the space, finding itself in the top 20 games of 2022 on Metacritic and having an 89 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic. Furthermore, this release will come with all the content made available forRogue Legacy 2, including its last major update: The Swan Song. This includes three new game modes (True Rogue, Thanatophobia, and Thana-two-phobia), 3 new Fabled Weapons, and a new Boss encounter.
PS Plus Extra and Premium List - June 2023
Rogue Legacy 2is a strong headliner for PS Plus this month, but it’s obviously not the only inclusion. It shares that spot alongFar Cry 6andTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, while also supported by a plethora of solid titles:Inscryption, Soulstice, Tacoma, Deux Ex: Mankind Divided,andKilling Floor 2, among others, including 4 classic PS Plus Premium titles. All areavailable on PS4 and PS5.
To sweeten the pot for its one-year anniversary, there is also a game trial forWWE 2K23. Many have seen this title as a step forward for the franchise.
