In this issue, readers are first introduced to thisPredator’s gut-wrenching workbefore the beast itself is ever seen. Strung from the ceiling, three flayed bodies hang as loose muscle and viscera ooze from their mutilated forms. The work is masterfully done, leaving no inch un-skinned and displaying the Predator’s refined butcherous skills. While Spider-Man continues his unwitting search for the alien serial killer, the Yautja has already captured and killed its next prey. While the victim tries to fight his brutish assailant back, the Predator merely reaches in and pulls the man’s face clean from the muscles.
Soon, the victim is left roaring in agony as blood cascades into his mouth and across his body while the Predator proudly dons his fleshy new mask before taking to the streets to find its next hunt. While collecting trophies from their prey is a common behavior among the Yautja, this perverse level of satisfaction is something new to Marvel’s take on the species. In the publisher’sprevious Predator vs… stories, the Yautja have each displayed a distinct uniqueness. However, those Predators have done nothing like what this foul hunter has already and promises to continue.
Spider-Man Is Not Prepared For This Ferocious Killer
Within thePredatoruniverse, these types of savage killers are known as “Bad Bloods.” Most Yautja follow an unofficial code that, among many things, prohibits Predators from hunting defenseless or obviously weaker prey. However, whena Predator breaks freefrom this social rule, they often do so in terrifyingly gruesome fashion. Bad Bloods aren’t hunters, they’re pure killers with the universe’s best training and resources behind them. Forever banished from Yautja society, these ferocious monsters have nothing to live for but the thrill of the next kill.Frankly, Spider-Man has no clue what he’s going to be up against.
Bad Bloods take all of that grisly talent and casts aside any rules that may have held them back before, leaving only a beast’s bloodlust in its stead.
Predators are already ruthless hunterswho have received generations’ worth of training and the most powerful arsenal of tactical weapons that the universe has ever seen. Bad Bloods take all of that grisly talent and casts aside any rules that may have held them back before, leaving only a beast’s bloodlust in its stead. “Skinner” is already one of the most appalling killers the franchise has seen, as its victims’ final moments are nothing but pure agony before the creature mocks their pain by wearing their face. AllPredatorsare dangerous, but this feral horror is unlike anything else.
Predator vs Spider-Man #1 (2025)will be available on June 04, 2025 from Marvel Comics.
