Pokemon SwordandShield’s first DLC, The Isle of Armor, is out now, and it features new Pokemon, new rivals, and more. However, before players can really start digging into this new content they will first need to get to The Isle of Armor, and the way to do that may not be immediately obvious. Fortunately, it is quite easy to startPokemon SwordandShield’s The Isle of Armor DLC, and this guide has all of the details.

The first step to accessingPokemon SwordandShield’s The Isle of Armor DLC is to make sure that it is downloaded. This is done by visiting the Switch’s home screen, navigating to the game’s icon, and then pressing the “+” sign on the right Joy-Con to enter Options. In this menu, players should select “Software Update,” and if there is nothing new to download then they should be all set to start the Isle of Armor DLC (assuming that they have purchased it, of course).

At this point, fans should visit the Wedghurst Station, which is the train station in the veryfirst town inPokemon SwordandShield, and speak with the man directly next to the ticketing counter inside. Indeed, this NPC will ask players where they would like to travel to, and all that they need to do is select “Armor Station” to get to The Isle of Armor and begin their exploration.

For full clarity, fans must access The Isle of Armor DLC through the Wedgehurst Station, as it is simply not possible to travel toPokemon SwordandShield’s new areafrom any other location. While this requirement should not cause many problems for players, it is likely to be the reason that some fans are having trouble getting to The Isle of Armor.

Announced back in January, this newPokemon SwordandShieldDLC will give players a chance to extend their stay in Galar, and hopefully this guide will help fans access the new content with relative ease. The Isle of Armor is certainly not the end of the story, though, as another DLC,The Crown Tundra, is still on the horizon, and it will bring a new co-op mode and more toSword and Shield.
