Pokemon GOplayers are currently busy taking full advantage of the awesome bonuses available through theExtraordinary Raid Week event, but it’s never too early to start looking forward to the next big celebration. Yesterday, after a few weeks of fan predictions and speculation, Niantic officially confirmed thatJune’s Community Day will put the spotlight on Slakothand its family of evolutions.
The lazy gen 3 creature is very popular and is actually in a pretty high demand for a lot ofPokemon GOplayers. That should make June’s Community Day a very popular event even without considering the other bonuses that will take place during the three hour window. Although the exclusive move isn’t official yet, the ChinesePokemon GOTwitter account may have accidentally spilled the beans on that.
According to a translation of the tweet, it sounds like Slaking will be able to obtain the very powerful move Body Slam.

-Featured pokemon “Slakoth”
-Learn Slaking’s #PokemonGoCommunitDay exclusive move “Body Slam”
-1/4 egg hatch distance”
Body Slam would likely make Slaking an even more powerful creature in thePokemon GOmetagamefor upcoming Battle Raids or even some PvP matchups. The number crunchers are likely already hard at work figuring out how to best take advantage of the move.
Be sure to keep in mind that this is still in rumor/leak territory until we hear an official confirmation from Niantic. It does seem pretty likely that this will end up being the move, but stand by for a week or so for an actual announcement.
