Pokemon GOfirst took the world by storm back in 2016, and ever since then, it has made headlines all over the world. The game allows players to get into the world of Pokemon and work to be the very best, like no one ever was.
The game allows players to get together, work to take down difficult raids and send each other gifts. However, thanks to Party Play, players are now able to do so much more with their friends. Here’s a breakdown of how it works.
What Is Party Play In Pokemon GO?
Pokemon GO’s Party Play allows players to play the game together like never before. Now, players can play with three other friends (four total) while allowing them to complete activities, challenges, raids, and see each others' avatars on their own maps. After joining a party, players will get to pick what challenge they want to take on as a team (usually pertaining to catching Pokemon, completing raids, or spinning PokeStops). Once a challenge is completed, they will get in-game rewards.
In order to join or host a party in Pokemon GO, follow these steps:
All trainers must be level 15 or higher in order to join the party.
What Is Party Power In Pokemon GO?
One of the most exciting things about Party Play is the Party Power bonus. This is a bonus that is available via raids if there is a party in the raid. The bonus will double the damage of your Pokemon’s next Charged Attack, and can be charged by using your Pokemon’s Fast Attack. This means that if there are more party members in a raid, this will increase quickly, allowing you to do even more damage. If paired with usingthe best Pokemon for raids, a party can become unstoppable.
Keep up with current in-game events. Sometimes, the Party Power may charger faster or do more damage if an event is happening (though this isn’t always the case during events).
