Pokemon GO’slatest datmine has arrived and the mobile AR game’s community is busy digging through the code for any interesting tidbits of information or hints about upcoming features. Although this particular datamine doesn’t seem to suggest any big functional changes to the game (likemore realistic AR and Pokestop mapping) in the near future, it does look like it is laying the groundwork for some upcoming events.

The datamine includes code for what appears to be two different Battle Raid-themed events in the near future. This shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise, since the lineup of events oncethe massive Throwback Challenge event concludesis pretty light right now. Hopefully both of thesePokemon GOevents arrive at some point in mid to late June and help keep players busy for a few days through the early summer.

The datamined code hints at a Pinsir Raid Day and a possible repeat of the Latias and Latios Raid Weekend event that the community has already seen before.Latias and Latios both have shiny versionsinPokemon GO, which means this event could be a great opportunity for collector’s to have another chance to battle those Raid Bosses a number of times and try to secure another set of rare shiny legendaries for their collection.

Note: As always, keep in mind that datamined information is subject to change and has not been confirmed by Niantic at this point in time.
