Pokemon GOhas a ton of events planned for December and trainers are going to have a lot to keep up with. Details about thePokemon GOHolidays 2019 bonuseswere revealed yesterday, but that’s not the only reason for excitement. Players are also going to be face off against a brand-new Legendary in the mobile AR game starting next week.
It may seem likeTerrakion just arrived, but it’s already time for the metarelevant creature to move over and make room for the next new Pokedex entry. Although not as useful forPokemon GOBattle Raid rosters, Virizion will still be an exciting creature to add to the long list of Pokemon available in the mobile game.

The arrival of Virizion Battle Raids on December 17 should give players plenty of motivation to head out and find some Tier 5 Gyms over the holidays. Because Virizion isn’t expected to be a very popular PvE or PvP choice, it will be interesting to see how quickly hype fades for these Raids after most players get the Pokedex entry.
Virizion glides into five-star raids!
Virizion, the Grassland Pokémon, will be coming to five-star raids! This Grass- and Fighting-type Legendary Pokémon has been said to confound opponents with its swift movements, so make sure you have your battle strategies ready before you encounter it.
