If there is a character in pop culture media that you love, there is a good chance Funko Pop has made a figurine of them, complete with those signature solid black eyes. When it comes to Nintendo, however, the selection of characters is surprisingly slim. That is why it is good news that Funko has decided to add another figure to its slowly growingPokemoncollection.
The Funko Pop figure for the water-type Pokemon Squirtle was revealed today, and it will eventually be available in stores. This bumps thePokemoncollection total up to only five figures, but with so many Pokemon to choose from, and given the popularity of the series, it is surely only a matter of time before the company adds many more.
Squirtle joins Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Charmander as a Funko Pop figure, which means that all the starters fromPokemon Red,PokemonBlue, andPokemonYellowwill finally be available. There is no word on a release date for the Funko Pop Squirtle, just that it will be coming soon. The other Funko PopPokemonfigures, however, are available now.
