The Psychic-type Pokémon can’t attack unless the player has 4 or more of Team Rocket’s Pokémon in play, but thenwill do over 160 damage in one attack.

9Team Rocket’s Crobat ex (Ultra Rare)

The Dark-type Pokémon, Crobat ex, gets the golden treatment with its Ultra Rare card, number 131/098. Team Rocket’s Crobat ex uses art from 5ban Graphics which shows thered-eyed Crobat ex in front of a member of Team Rocket.Both Crobat and the Team Rocket Grunt are outlined in gold, matching the border of the card itself. It should come asno surprise that the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni, would have his own Special Art Rarein a Team Rocket-themed expansion set. Likewise, the card being one of the most valuable of the set is also not a shock, especially when it comes with artwork this eye-catching. Illustrated by Krgc, several of the Team Rocket members stand behind Giovanni as he is shown holding out his hand, seemingly to offer a handshake or possibly to lift someone up. His eyes and demeanor continue to prove he is not a man to be trusted, however.

Giovanni’s card allows players to swap out an Active Team Rocket’s Pokémon with one of the Benched Team Rocket’s Pokémon. The Special Art Rare, card number 129/098 ofTeam Rocket’s Giovanni currently holds a market value of $69.99 USDonTCGPlayer.

Using the same artwork from aky CG Works, Giovanni is fully colored in for this edition andthe golden border and sparkles give this card a richnessin addition to its strong gameplay mechanics. Its Attack powers are the same as the Super Rare card, with the ability to increase damage by discarding Energy.

Despite being pretty identical in gameplay to the Super Rare, this Ultra Rare Team Rocket’s Mewtwo is showing with a much higher monetary point. The holofoil card 130/098 has acurrent market value onTCGPlayerof $84.99 USD.

4Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex (Special Art Rare)

Looking as though it is straight off the pages of a comic book, this Special Art Rare of Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex is beautifully illustrated by Uninori.Nidoking ex looks truly fearsome as Giovanni stands in the backgrounddirecting it into battle. The Dark-type Pokémon has two different attacks, each of which can be deadly to anyone who dares face it.
