One-Punch Man’s presence at Anime Expo received an incredible amount of hype in the weeks leading up to the convention, and the series itself was one of the biggest anime incorporated into the marketing, so fans were hopeful for some big news. When it came time for the actual panel, though,One-Punch Manseason 3 didn’t receive a new trailer at Anime Expo 2025, nor was the director announced, leaving fans more disappointed than ever.
The only things of note from the panel were confirmation that the voice acting was complete and that J.C.Staff was trying to replicate Yusuke Murata’s artwork, but both of those points are largely a non-issue with fans. Even with season 3 just three months away, there isn’t a real trailer to speak of, and there isn’t a director to give fans an idea of what to expect, so despite the hype people are trying to generate, there’s little reason not to see it as being just as disastrous as season 2, if not worse.
