‘It’s not what it looks like!’
It’s now past 11:00pm, and I’m watching two adults competitively milk a virtual cow. Howyoudoing?
I’d call this the most “Nintendo” moment of tonight’s Nintendo Switch presentation, but that honor is better awarded to the Joy-Con controllers’ apparent ability tosimulate the feelingof “ice cubes colliding in a cup,” because oh my god that was weird as well but, like, good weird.Usefulweird. (I think.)
The milking mini-game is a part of1-2-Switch,which also has“Table Tennis,” “Quick Draw,” “Samurai Training,” “Copy Dance,” and “many more” yet to be revealed. Nintendo’s pitch for this game is to look at the person you’re competing against, not the TV screen. Seems like a ridiculous time.
