Exercising his power over the fifth dimension, the meta-powered clown forces Nite-Mite to take what is supposedly his true form, a monstrous, purple-like being that warps whatever it touches with its fifth-dimensional power, breaking the laws of space, time, and form. However, since Nite-Mite appears to be in pain and has no control over his new body, it is clear the meta-clown has done more than just force him into this natural form. Even though Nite-Mite isn’t acting with malicious intent,Nightwing still must confront his out-of-control imp friendto save Barbara, Bryce, and Haley, who are all trapped inside the abandoned Titans Tower, which is being warped by Nite-Mite’s chaotic form.
GivenNite-Mite’s fifth-dimensional powers, which can bend reality itself, it is clear that Nightwing’s usual suit and weapons won’t be enough to face him. This forces Dick to make a deal with the devil, Olivia Pearce, CEO of Sphereic Solutions, who just happens to have a“kappa-irradiated”Nightwing suit and weapons ready that make him untouchable against the fifth dimension’s reality-warping abilities.This upgrade is massive, as not even Superman is immune to the fifth dimension’s effects. However, one can’t help but wonder what the true cost will be for Dick accepting Pearce’s suit.
