She was nominated along with Megan Hilty (Death Becomes Her), Audra McDonald (Gypsy), Jasmine Amy Rogers (BOOP! The Musical), and Jennifer Simard (Death Becomes Her).Nicole had performed “As If We Never Said Goodbye” earlier in the showand received a standing ovation.Sunset Boulevardalso won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, as well as Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Jack Knowles.
In an Instagram post,Sunset Boulevardannounced the exciting news, posting footage of her from the show with audio of her singing “With One Look.“The caption of the post read,“The greatest star of all.“Nicole received rave reviews for her performance and had previously won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, which is London’s equivalent of the Tony Award, when she performed in the West End production.

She gave a phenomenal performance and redefined the role of Norma in this groundbreaking production ofSunset Boulevard.I have a feeling that this is only the beginning of a long stage career for Nicole, and thatshe’ll be too busy to return toThe Masked Singer, even if it doesn’t film until fall 2025 for its January 2026 premiere.
