The officialMy Hero AcademiaTwitter account released the first promotional poster for the anime’s upcoming sixth season on Sunday.
The posterfeatures both Dekuand Shigaraki, with a tagline that reads “All-out war draws near” in the middle. The text on Deku’s side of the poster reads, “I’ll give everything I have to stop you” while Shigaraki’s text reads “I’ll just break it.”

My Hero Academia’sfifth season came to an end earlier this year with the news of a sixth season following shortly after. The fifth season covered the end of the manga’s Pro Hero arc up until the beginning of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.
Season 6 will continue on from there, though with no runtime announced it isunknown just how much of the mangait will adapt. Studio Bones will return to work on the upcoming season, while director Kenji Nagasaki, scriptwriter Yōsuke Kuroda, composer Yuki Hayashi, and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi are all expected to return.
Nagasaki also directed 2013sGundam Build Fighters,Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,and served as director on allthreeMy Hero Academiafilms. Kuroda has been in the industry for over 25 years and worked alongside Nagasaki onGundam Build Fighterswhile also penning scripts forMobile Suit Gundam 00andGoblin Slayer.
Hayashi hasdone work on a number of anime, dramas, and live-action films, most notably 2021’sShaman Kingand thePokemonanime. Umakoshi is best known for his work on the 1997Berserkanime,Mushishi, andSaint Seiya Omega.
Kōhei Horikoshi’sMy Hero Academiamanga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2014. The series has 32 collected volumes and is published in English by VIZ Media. TheMy Hero Academiaanime adaptation first aired in 2013, and inspired three films. The series is licensed by Funimation but can also be streamed on Crunchyroll.
