About a month ago, the Finnish PR company known as 3H Distribution Oy projecteda potential July launch datefor Bandai Namco Entertainment’s forthcoming action role-playing game,Code Vein, but it appears as if the aforementioned time frame was off by a large margin. As it so happens, Bandai Namco has now confirmed the exact release date by way of a new story trailer, with the title set to become available on Jun 30, 2025.
As seen below in the latest trailer forCode Vein, fans can get a gander at what it will be like to play as a main character who is a vampiric Revenant with the ability to tap into supernatural powers after drinking blood. There are several narrative tidbits on display in the form of cut-scenes alongside a few segments of gameplay that display the forthcoming action-RPG’sDark Souls-like combat elements and mechanics.
For those unaware,Code Veinwas initially revealed as a vampire game about a year ago after teasing that players will need to “Prepare to Dine”, and its development appears to have made leaps and bounds since it was announced. Since its unveiling, for instance, a slew of screenshots, story trailers, and gameplay videos have been unleashed to document its production process, with the title having grown into a slick-looking anime-styledDark Soulsvariant.
All things considered, withCode Veinfans having now been given an official release date, there’s no doubt that their excitement for the title has become even larger than ever before, as they now know when to expect it. The action-RPG was already recognized by many as one ofthe most highly anticipated games for 2018, so hopefully players will be able to exercise patience forCode Veinbefore it officially hits store shelves.
