How To Dunk
The important thing to know about dunking is that it does require getting the opponent out of position. A defensive player that doesn’t touch the controls will stay in front of the dribbler, preventing a drive to the rim. So start out by moving left and right, seeing if the opponenttries to steal the ballor goes in for a bad block.

If the player tries to block or steal, swipe in the opposite direction and then swipe up to go to the hoop for a free basket. If players try this while they are covered, they can be easilyblocked with the right timing. It’s important that the opponent is out of position before trying this.
Another thing that helps is when using a player at a higher level. Against AI opponents, the computer will often get tripped up and swipe at the ball when it doesn’t make sense to do so.Recruit more players to the teamand use the best ones against the computer-controlled players to get several dunk attempts.
It should be noted that some players simply opt to layup the ball instead of dunking, but the mechanics are the same and the results are 100% unless the shot is blocked. With so much time on the clock, be patient and move to the side. At worst, if the opponent never bites, go up for a shot after draining the clock.
