Recently, it was discovered that a Google ad for theMortal Kombat 11Terminator DLCexisted before it was removed. Now the same thing has been discovered forEvil Dead’s Ash Williams, seemingly confirming the long-rumored character for NetherRealm’s latest fighting game.

Yet again, this discovery was covered by the Dynasty YouTube account, where a Google search for the Ash WilliamsMortal Kombat 11DLC revealed an ad for the character appearing at the top of the results. These Google ad discoveries seem to corroborate the previous datamines revealing theMortal Kombat 11DLC lineup.

Considering this, it seems like a safe bet that the otherMortal Kombat 11leaked DLC characters are likely accurate as well. This means that The Joker from DC Comics could very well be another guest fighter being planned for future DLC, perhaps to release alongside theJokerfilm in October, just as the Terminator DLC will likely release around November 1 when theTerminator: Dark Fatemovie comes out.

However, that would make for three guest fighters counting Ash Williams, and there’s only two more confirmed for the currentMortal KombatDLC pack. This could be an indication that Ash won’t be coming toMortal Kombat 11for quite some time, though that would be strange since the Shang Tsung trailer already teased him.

At the end of theMortal Kombat 11Shang Tsung DLC trailer, viewers can hear a chainsaw and see blood splatter on the screen. Since Ash Williams has a chainsaw for a hand, many assumed that this was an official tease for the character. Others have taken it as a tease for Doom Slayer, or other famous pop culture characters famous for wielding chainsaws.

But with this Google ad appearing for Ash Williams inMortal Kombat 11and not for those other characters, it seems as though fans shouldn’t get their hopes up forDoom Slayer. At this point, it’s just a matter ofwhenEvil Dead’s Ash Williams will be revealed forMK11, notif.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a Google Stadia version also in development.
