It seems that players will need to hand over some dollars if they wish to purchase one of the main currencies of the mobile game: gems. By using gems,Monster Hunter Nowplayers can double their material reward at the end of a hunt and purchase useful items from the shop, such as potions, paintballs, and Wander items that increase the player’s range temporarily.

How to Get More Gems in Monster Hunter Now
Game Rant received early access toMonster Hunter Now, and in a couple of days, we managed to reach HR (Hunter Rank) 23 and are currently going through Chapter 6 of the story. In that time, the game has onlygiven us 500 Gems for free, and that’s it. We are not sure if the game will reward players with free gems for hitting certain HR milestones or for completing later chapters, but for now, it seems the only way to get more gems after the initial ones given to players is to purchase them with real money from the in-game shop.

By heading to the shop, players should see the ‘one time only’Starter Pack. The pack costs $6.99 and has 1000 Gems, 3 Potions, 2 Wander Droplets, and 3 Paintballs. It’s honestly not a bad deal, considering that buying 1000 Gems normally costs about $7. Another deal to grab right now is the Release Celebration Pass, which will give players a whopping 2000 Gems spread out over a month for only $8.99.
