At the end of that episode, it is revealed that someone is violently threatening Lori and Eli, although the culprit’s identity remains a mystery. It has been theorized that this figure is the one who is killing Lori’s boyfriends, explaining that mystery as well.
Cobb’s hostility toward Lori and the Gemstones makes him a prime suspect. He could even be feeding his victims to the alligators, with them getting a surprising amount of screentime. There is still a lot to learn about Cobb, and hopefully, he returns in the next episode ofThe Righteous Gemstones.
