The two men were poised to take over the criminal empire, as their boss didn’t believe his son, Oh Seung-won, had the ability to run Beomyeongdong. When Seung-won got wind of what his father was planning,he ordered a hit on Ju-won and Bong-san. As Seung-won put his decision into action, Mr. Kim, who was already a crooked police officer at the time, saw this as the moment to grow his wealth.
