What This Means For Lethal Weapon
The Franchise Is Finally Reunited On Streaming
This move to Tubi will markthe first time that all four movies have been on the same streamer for quite a while. At the time of writing, while the first, third, and fourth films are available on Fubo,Lethal Weapon 2is not available on any free or subscription-based streaming service.
Lethal Weaponis leaving Fubo on July 30, whileLethal Weapon 3andLethal Weapon 4are leaving on July 31.
While thepossibleLethal Weapon 5is in development hell in spite ofMel Gibsonsaying he will return to direct and co-star alongside Danny Glover, the fact that all four movies are now in the same place could help spur that process to finally move forward if their simultaneous availability translates to strong streaming numbers on the new platform.
