On the heels of the series getting a release date, aMayor of Kingstownseason 4 image has introduced a major new player. Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan’s crime thriller has been a hit across its three released seasons, seeing steadily improving reception from critics and consistently scoring strong viewership for Paramount+.
Mayor of Kingstownseason 3 was memorable for being Jeremy Renner’s first major production in the wake of his near-fatal snowplow accident. The season explored Renner’s Mike working to maintain the peace when a series of explosions rocked the titular city, and he found himself facing his biggest threat yet with the Russian mob’s growing influence on the town.
A few months after season 3’s release, Paramount+ renewedMayor of Kingstownfor season 4. The cast subsequently saw the addition of multiple key figures, includingThe Sopranosvet Edie Falco andFear the Walking Dead’s Lennie James, while a late 2025 release was planned for the next chapter.
In conjunction with announcing its October 26 return, Paramount+ has unveiled a collection of newMayor of Kingstownseason 4 images. The stills introduce Edie Falco’s character, Nina Hobbs, in a couple of tense interactions with Jeremy Renner’s titular character, as well as Lennie James' new mobster, Frank Moses, and things going awry within the prison. What These Images Mean For Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4
As evidenced by the season 4 images, many ofMayor of Kingstown’s season 3 deathsare going to have their voids filled, though not necessarily smoothly for Mike. For starters, Falco’s new prison warden character looks to be starting off on a tense foot with Mike as she takes over from Kareem after he was stabbed and killed by prisoners.
James, meanwhile, looks to be taking over from the Russian mafia after Mike finally got rid of them and killed Milo in the season 3 ending with his Frank Moses character. AsJames previously teased toScreenRant, Moses is going to “be working with and against Mike” in his effort to establish power in the area.
One of the other major teases to come fromMayor of Kingstown’s season 4 images is Kyle’s stint in prison. Season 3 ended with him being arrested after shooting Robert, with Mike failing to convince Necar Zadegan’s Evelyn to grant him leniency. Considering his sadness in the season 3 finale, it seems likely Mike will have more than one emotional visit with his younger brother.
The images also point to Mike not being the only one hoping to get Kyle freed, as evidenced by the still of Evelyn meeting with Hugh Dillon’s Ferguson. With his notably being a more stubborn character, it might be possible he takes a less diplomatic approach than Mike in an effort to clear the younger McClusky brother’s name.
Our Take On The Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4 Images
Regardless of how the plots play out, what theMayor of Kingstownseason 4 images do confirm the stakes aren’t getting any lower. I’m particularly interested to see how Falco’s character compares to Kareem and what her ultimate moral compass is, as well as how James' Moses will impact Mike’s ever-tenuous relationship with Bunny.
Mayor of Kingstownseason 3 will premiere on October 23 on Paramount+.
