InManor Lords, players who want to start trading with their neighboring lords will immediately run into problems. The two main structures players will need to build to get started are the Trading Post and the Livestock Trading Post.
However, once a player builds a Trading Post, a notification may pop up indicating that theTrading Post is not connected to the King’s Road, a necessary requirement for any Trade Route. This issue can be frustrating to resolve, as even seemingly connected roads may not actually be connected. Here’s how to fix the issue.
The King’s Road is awinding, unbroken road that connects all regionson the map. This road comes pre-built in every campaign and is the only way for players to engage intrade with otherManor Lordregions. There are no apparent differences between a road built by the player and the King’s Road; they both look essentially the same.
To locate the King’s Road, start at the edge of the player-controlled area and look for unbroken roads leading into it from the outside. That is the King’s Road. Trace it all the way back to your base to find the nearest point where your settlement can be connected to the King’s Road. The King’s Road is alsovisible from the region map(M) as black lines connecting everything. Zoom in while centering the camera on a black line to find the King’s Road.
Making Connections
Use the road toolto extend a road from the player settlement to the King’s Road. Any structures built on connected roads will automatically be connected to the King’s Road.
If a Trading Post is connected to the King’s Road physically but a notification is popping up saying that it’s not, build an overlapping road over the already existing one to connect to the King’s Road. Alternatively, delete all roads in the area and rebuild the network. Rebuilding roads doesn’t cost anything.
